Marriage Course

The Alpha Marriage Course is a series of seven online sessions to help guide engaged or married couples in building a strong future together. You'll join online each week from the privacy of your own home for a two-hour session. Each week explores a different topic using a 45 minute video presentation with breaks for private conversations.

*Only one registration required per couple

Bridgetown Recovery Community Gathering

The Bridgetown Recovery Community holds a gathering on the second Friday monthly to join together for a meal, listen to a speaker, and reflect in prayer. We are dedicated to providing support, connection, and encouragement to those within our church family who are on a journey of recovery from substances.

If you are in recovery or have a desire to stop drinking or using drugs please register to attend.

If you have additional questions, please email brc@bridgetown.church.

The Family Room Open House

Bridgetown is proud to partner with The Family Room, a nonprofit organization serving families impacted by foster care. The Family Room creates warm, welcoming spaces right here at Bridgetown for children to connect with their biological family as they work toward reunification. You are invited to an Open House to learn more about this justice partner and how you can join in the  kingdom work they are doing. Snacks and drinks provided, children welcome.

Wednesday 3 AM Prayer

Gather with us every third Wednesday at 3 AM for special hours of prayer during the watch hours of the night—we wait on the Lord as we wait for the morning. Artists and Creatives are encouraged to bring supplies to create during this time. Hosted by one of our Elders, Peter Quint.

House to House

As we enter the Lenten season—identifying with Jesus in the wilderness—Bridgetown Church staff would love to come alongside you and bless you as you begin your journey. On Ash Wednesday, Bridgetown Church family with Portland addresses are invited to participate in House to House: 5-minute doorstep visits by pairs of Bridgetown Staff members to bless you, anoint your residence, and serve you communion as you enter Lent.

Space is limited, register to participate.
Due to staffing capacity, House to House visits are limited to Portland city limits.

Ash Wednesday Gatherings

Gather with us on Ash Wednesday, which begins the Lenten season. We will be reflecting on our mortality, humanity, and lack, as well as the inevitability of death and our need for a Savior.

Bridgetown Kids available for ages 0 - 5th grade at 5:30 PM.

Followers of Jesus ages 18-29 from across the Portland area are invited to gather monthly for a night of worship and prayer. Together we’ll seek God’s presence and respond to what He’s doing in our generation.

Night of Renaissance

Gather with us for a Night of Renaissance, coming to Portland for the first time in partnership with Saint Church and friends. The night will feature a special panel of guests, including Jon Collins from BibleProject, Taylor Kavanaugh, co-founder of Blue Ox Films, Natalie Mortimer from The Modern Proper, and Michael Larson, founder of Humans for Housing. Together, they’ll help create space for wonder, imagination, and shared experience.

This evening is for anyone who wants to explore creativity, imagination, and the work of God in our lives—whether you’re a creative, an entrepreneur, or simply curious.

High School Winter Retreat

We’re heading out for our first-ever Winter Retreat. Over the weekend, we’ll take extended time and space to be present with God through Scripture, worship, silence, and rest at Camp Tadmor.

Pre-Gathering Prayer

Before our Sunday gatherings, we take the time to pray and listen to the Spirit for how he would like to encounter people in each gathering. In order to provide more time before the Sunday gatherings begin, we are moving our pre-gathering prayer times to 8 AM for the morning gatherings, and 4 PM for our evening gathering.

Discipleship Pathway

The journey of discipleship is not linear, it’s cyclical. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to following Jesus. This pathway is simply a way of finding yourself within this house we call Bridgetown Church and an invitation to move deeper into our family. Bread 2026

Daily Scripture reading is an essential practice for followers of Jesus—the place where we can learn from God and see what it looks like to put his word into practice. Bread is our annual scripture reading guide, created to aid you in renewing your mind and practice being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did.

Daily Prayer Rhythm

We are calling the Bridgetown Church family to a Daily Prayer Rhythm, morning, midday, and evening. The Daily Prayer Rhythm is a tool to revive the common prayer rhythm of early church prayer in the modern era. We order our days by communion with God in prayer for the sake of the intimacy and power that flows from rebellious fidelity to Jesus. Learn more about each rhythm.
